SO, LET'S TALK DATA PRIVACY
PRIVACY POLICY
This is how The Good Guys collects and uses your personal data when you visit our site, sign up to hear from us, or work with us on something good.
THE DATA WE COLLECT
We keep it simple. We collect your name and your email address. That’s it for what you give us directly. Some additional data is generated automatically through cookies and analytics tools, more on that below.
WHO WE ARE
The Good Guys Consultants Ltd, company registration number 14521541, trading as The Good Guys. We’re the ones responsible for your data (referred to as “The Good Guys”, “we”, “us” or “our” throughout this policy). Matt is our data protection contact and handles any questions about this policy or your data. Reach him directly at [email protected].
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We only use your data for what we collected it for, which means sending you event proposals and invites, like our roundtables. Sharing case studies and insights we think you’ll find useful. And working with you under any agreed scope of work.
COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use a few tools to understand how people find and use our site, and to make sure our outreach is working.
Google Analytics tracks things like which pages you visit, how long you’re on the site, and what led you here. It reports on trends, not individuals, we can’t identify you personally through it, and you can’t be tracked across other sites. You can opt out by disabling cookies in your browser, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. More at http://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html.
HubSpot tracking helps us manage our contact and outreach relationships, understand engagement with our communications, and follow up on things like event invites. If you’d rather not be tracked, let us know at [email protected] and we’ll sort it.
Typeform is used for forms and sign-ups, like event registrations. Any data you submit through a Typeform is handled in line with this policy and Typeform’s own privacy practices.
YOUR RIGHT TO OPT OUT
Want out of our marketing, event invites, or tracking? Just email [email protected] and we’ll action it, with no forms or fuss.
YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to see a copy of the data we hold on you, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at www.ico.org.uk.
